During the afternoon session, attention will shift to providing hands-on experience with the actual equipment.
At the end of the day, there will be a multiple choice exam that is 20 questions in length related to the material covered during the day's instruction. You must answer at least 16 of the 20 questions correctly in order to pass the course and obtain certification.
The successful candidate will have learned how to:

- Properly interpret HSG 47 regulations regarding underground utilities.
- Accurately interpret underground utility schematics.
- Create their own schematic indicating the location of underground hazards.
