NRSWA Streetworks Course Nottingham

Nottingham Unit LA Cat & Genny

Safety is of paramount importance when conducting Streetworks in close proximity to vulnerable underground utilities. One careless move could compromise the safety of workers, pedestrians and motorists or cause a power outage, gas explosion or other occurrence that endangers the surrounding community, whether it be commercial or residential.

The  Nottingham NRSWA Cat & Genny Course provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to avoid such negative outcomes. On the course, participants will be instructed in the proper use of both the Cable Avoidance Tool or CAT, and the Signal Generator or Genny.

Who is the course for

Also know as the cat and genny course it is for both Streetworks Operatives and Supervisors.

The course is delivered through a combination of classroom learning and practical activities in 1 day at the NRSWA Streetworks Nottingham training venue. You will then be required to complete assessments and a short online exam for the unit.
