The course itself is divided into 2 segments. The first is the theoretical segment that takes place during the morning session. Information is delivered via PowerPoint presentations, videos, printouts, case studies and other methods.
During the afternoon session, the focus shifts to hands-on training with real equipment so that participants can get a feel for what it's like to handle this type of device. At the end of the day, there will be an exam comprising 20 multiple-choice questions.

The NRSWA Streetworks Unit LA is specifically for those who need to located underground apparatus whilst working on the UK roads and highways. It is a key unit which you need if you intend to qualify in any of the Streetworks excavation and reinstatement units.
