We normally suggest booking a reassessment about 3 months before your existing qualifications are about to expire. However, if you decide to take a reassessment earlier than this, you will still get the full additional 5 years from your new SWQR ID card and certification. If, for example, you take a reassessment 6 months before your current certificates are due to expire, you will receive a new card that is valid for 5 years and 6 months (alternatively, you may elect to wait and we will send out your new 5-year card shortly before the existing one expires).
For every unit that you are reassessed on, you will need to achieve a score of 80% or more on the associated multiple-choice online examination. These exams comprise of 20 questions and you have 45 minutes to complete them. As long as you are clear on what you need to know for each exam that you take, you should be able to pass them all with relative ease.
