NRSWA Streetworks Reassessment in Maidenhead
In 1991 the government passed the New Roads and Street Works Act, or NRSWA. The NRSWA dictated that anyone performing roadworks in the UK must receive proper certification. Such certification would only be granted once the individual successfully completed appropriate course work and would remain valid for 5 years from the date of issue. At the end of that time reassessment would be necessary to retain certification. If the time has come for your reassessment our NRSWA Streetworks Reassessment in Maidenhead is how you obtain it.
Is NRSWA Streetworks Reassessment in Maidenhead Right for You?
If you currently hold NRSWA Streetworks certification and that certification is about to expire you will need to undergo reassessment if you wish to continue working as a roadworks Operative or Supervisor. That said, actual hands-on experience performing roadworks is not necessary. In other words, if you have held a certificate for 5 years but not performed any actual roadwork for whatever reason, you can still undertake reassessment and extend your certification another 5 years.
When Should You Undertake Reassessment?
We typically recommend that if your current certification is due to expire within the next 12 months that you sign up for NRSWA Streetworks Reassessment in Maidenhead at your earliest convenience. There are a couple of reasons for that.
First, procrastinating is rarely a winning strategy. If you put things off to the last minute you could well forget and find yourself unable to work until you undergo reassessment. Second, you will not lose any certification time. That is, the new 5-year certification period will commence upon the expiry of the original certificate, not 5 years from when you take the reassessment.
